Carbon Monitor-Power brings together electricity generation estimates from national and regional sources. Coverage and publication delays differ across locations.

This explorer uses a fixed published snapshot. Monthly and yearly generation are sums of the available daily values. Partial periods are identified; absent days remain absent. Each year-on-year point requires complete daily coverage in both compared periods. The summary comparison requires complete coverage of both full date ranges.

The Global view sums a fixed set of covered countries and regions, using dates shared by every member. Regional collections are represented through their individual members. The coverage panel and metadata identify the members and shared date range. Comparisons are shown as separate series, including when a country is also part of Global.

Values are published estimates and may be revised as the underlying dataset develops.
